Youth Programs
Dominique Bunker, Youth Exchange Officer for Rotary, shares heartfelt insights into the Rotary Youth Exchange program, a powerful 1-to-1 global experience that connects students and families across cultures. In this interview, she emphasizes the emotional journey students and host families face, from navigating fear and paperwork to building lifelong global bonds. Dominique highlights the importance of helping students develop leadership and communication skills, creating meaningful local experiences for inbound students, and encouraging Rotarians to get involved—whether through mentoring, hosting, or sharing everyday American experiences. The program builds empathy, confidence, and family-like global relationships that endure well beyond the exchange year.
Doug Wood introduces members of the Reeths Puffer High School Interact Club: Students Charli Belinger, Brook Buchan, Rowan Bluhm and Keeley Cole and Advisor Karla Buchow.
