Muskegon Rotary Harvest Festival

The Club’s inaugural Harvest Fest was a fun, successful event that also raised money! The two beneficiaries are Read Muskegon, which received $10,000 and Baker College’s culinary student scholarship fund, which received $2,500. Preliminary numbers show an additional $14,000 was raised which will be plowed back into programs supported by your Muskegon Rotary Foundation. Thanks to all our sponsors and attendees! Coming forward for the “big check” presentation are, from left, Carla Flanders, our amazing event coordinator, Melissa Moore, executive director of Read Muskegon, Baker College/Culinary Institute of Michigan (CIM) student Mikal Jones, CIM Director Jamie Sowa and Harvest Fest Committee co-chairs Dave Alexander and Roger Morgenstern. We’ll see you all again next October!
