TJ talks to us about PEAK
Terrance “TJ” Williams, below, is continuing his commitment to sports, youth and the local community. The former stand-out football player for the Oak-ridge Eagles, current owner and presi-dent of the West Michigan Ironmen professional football team, co-founder of the WV (sports scholarship) Foundation, practicing sports and entertainment attorney…yes, this is just one individual…is also the owner of the PEAK Training Academy.
The academy’s programs and services expand beyond those of an average fitness center or gym.Williams stated that they use “sports as a vector towards higher education and community growth.”
They strive to enhance athletic abilities, improve educational achievement and develop long lasting life skills for up-and-coming athletes in the community. Williams explained that PEAK Elite is the foundational core program tailored towards high school athletes.
Williams and his partner, Terrance Taylor, outlined the four pillars of PEAK Elite…philanthropy, education, athletics and knowledge. Taylor highlighted some of the fundamental program components such as strength and conditioning techniques, discipline, character building, humility and teamwork. He also commented that they “help develop young men and women not only as athletes, but also as well-rounded individuals.”
It was evident that both presenters were committed to devoting their time and experiences to leaving a long lasting, positive impact on their clients and in the community.
