‘Round Rotary’s RIM (8/20/15)

When County Veterans Center director, and occasional Rotary speaker, Dave Eling visited the Club recently, he wasn’t happy with the condition of our American flag so, last week, he asked Rep Holly Hughes, right, to deliver to us a bright new flag, left, with yellow fringe, and a spiffy stand. We’re much obliged, Dave (and Holly).

President Susan Crain, left, thanked Carla Hill for her input that led to plans to install a new sound system in our meeting room. Orville Crain highlighted the continuous inflow of new members, thanks to the Recruitment Committee. Nancy Crandall reminded us that Grape Escape is our largest fundraiser and tagged-teamed with other committee members to stress the need for sponsorships, silent auction items, volunteers and ticket sales. John Noling announced a Fish Boil fundraiser this Saturday, August 15.
